Salt Whistle Bay

His name remembers the ancient salt production which, exported, gave nourish to the people: today there’s a little, elegant hotel resort with cottages well placed into the tangled wood.

The unpolluted beaches are an important attraction.

Mustique

It is only 5 square Km wide and was just known by the Caribbean fishermen till 60’s when it was elected as a holiday residence of the Princess Margaret of England; since then it attracted a very selected range of customers and the interest of great economic resources.

Soon it became popular as “millionaires island”.

At the north there is Cotton House Hotel that is almost one of the most exclusive hotel on the island, situated where a cotton plantation used to be.

Most of the coralline beaches are situated in protected nature reserves.

A quite few pieces of wreckage can be considered very attractive for divers and they are a clear evidence of difficult landing.

Firefly Bar

It is surrounded by very nice bright coloured Neo-Creole houses, where you can find small clothing shops.

Cotton House Hotel

The hotel takes the name from Cotton House and nearby there is a small airport for private aircrafts belonging to a special clientele.

Not very far there are small multicoloured houses suitable for a simpler tourism.

At the west a picturesque fish market shows lobsters and crustaceans coming from the local fishing.

Ste Lucia

Really close to Martinica, for long time the island was disputed between French and English and for this reason today are still spoken both languages english and french.

The "patois"is present in the language of Creoles and in the toponymy can still be found french words.

It’s an independent State whose capital is Castries, which counts nearly 50.000 inhabitants, it has to be build many times because was destroyed more than once by fires and natural disasters.

The island has an international airport near thecity of Vieux Fort, in the Southside of the country.

Today the traditional cultivation of tropical fruits is joined by an expanding tourism, thanks to the numerous natural reserves which defend the sea and land animals, the luxuriant woods and the sea bed rich of esteemed coral.

Another important attraction are the volcanic peaks, named Deux Pitons, or the Sulphur Springs, the wide falls, or the beautiful bays like Marigot Bay or the numerous inlets along the coasts framed by beaches with fine, impalpable grey sand on which face the traditional fishermen villages or the most wanted and elegant tourist structures .

Rodney Bay

Placet on the west coast, the bay, very wide, offer a safe from winds shelter.

In the middle, through a canal one can enter in the Rodney Bay Marina.

Many are the boat places along the equipped jetties.

A naval dockyard gives every necessary service.

Many are bar, restaurants and shops for every need of the tourists.

There also are many nightclub, among them the famous J.J's Paradise.
