It is surrounded by very nice bright coloured Neo-Creole houses, where you can find small clothing shops.
The hotel takes the name from Cotton House and nearby there is a small airport for private aircrafts belonging to a special clientele.
Not very far there are small multicoloured houses suitable for a simpler tourism.
At the west a picturesque fish market shows lobsters and crustaceans coming from the local fishing.

The island has an international airport near thecity of Vieux Fort, in the Southside of the country.
Today the traditional cultivation of tropical fruits is joined by an expanding tourism, thanks to the numerous natural reserves which defend the sea and land animals, the luxuriant woods and the sea bed rich of esteemed coral.
Another important attraction are the volcanic peaks, named Deux Pitons, or the Sulphur Springs, the wide falls, or the beautiful bays like Marigot Bay or the numerous inlets along the coasts framed by beaches with fine, impalpable grey sand on which face the traditional fishermen villages or the most wanted and elegant tourist structures .

In the middle, through a canal one can enter in the Rodney Bay Marina.
