Little archipelago discovered by Christopher Columbus in the All Saints Day, for long time it has been contended by French and English, presents great panoramic views, beaches protected by great inlets, unpolluted nature both in the Terre de Bas and in the Terre de Haut, the best equipped from the tourist point of view.

Frequent are the connections with Trois Rivières through ferry boats.

It’s easily reachable from Point à Pitre and surrounded by a wide coral reef.

Thanks to the building of an international airport, it was known both in America and Europe.

The most famous place of the island is English Harbour, located in the southern coast, heart of an important nautical area of the highest order.

Here, the glorious buildings of the Royal Navy, rise.

The main town is St- John's, with 25000 inhabitants and an ancient and very living trade port.

Deep creeks are the main feature of this island but their access is sometimes impeded by coral reefes and shoals.

English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour in the southern offer assistance, nautical services, restaurants and hotels.

In the west coast, the beaches are reachable only taking great care to the shallow waters.

Jolly Harbour offers a wide resort provided with tennis playgrounds and a green with 18 holes.

This island is destination of the èlite people, but only during the high season, during the rest of the year it is desert.

It’s known as the “green Island” thanks to its thick vegetation that contrasts the purity of the beaches and the turquoise of the clear waters.

Moreover it’s the seat of the exclusive Mill Reef Yacht Club.

Was a safe place hardly to visible from a distance, where admiral Nelson found refuge.

Here, the shipyard where the boats were repaired and kept raised (at the present it’s possible to visit it) .

On Charlotte Point the sea erosion created with time, the famous "Colonne di Ercole " that seem to rise for saving the creek where you can enjoy white beaches, palms and limpidest waters.

This location is much frequented both for the presence of the Royal Navy buildings and the excellent hotels.

It’s located in the east of Goat Head Channel and it’s a natural reserve among the coral reefes.

The sand of this beach is authentically pink, but it is necessary to approach with caution especially during the low tide.

The location is desert and no included in the tourist tours.
